Forming in early 2009, Aztech Suns are making a huge name for themselves around Western Australia. The band consists of Alex Robins (Lead vocals/lyrics/rhythm guitar), Nathan Borona (Lead guitar/backing vocals), Troy Mellidis (Rhythm guitar/backing vocals/harmonica), Kristian Borona (Bass guitar), Stewart Bowley (Drums/backing vocals).
These boys are hard rockers that don't hold back. Loud and fantastic to jump up and down to with influences from the tripped out 60s to the dirty riffs of the 80s; their instrumental breakdowns and passionate 'in ya face' on stage energy make them a rock band not to be missed!
They’ve played all over Perth, Western Australia, packing rooms for gigs such as their EP Launch in mid January this year and their 'Wake The Dead' Halloween Party 2010. They've also played in some of Western Australia's regional areas such as supporting Grinspoon in the Kalgoorlie leg of their 'Six To Midnight' Tour where they played to 800+ rock enthusiasts, and hosting a New Year's Eve Party in Dowerin '09/'10. They've rocked out many competitions and events around Perth, came in 2nd for a Perth Battle of the Bands, and although they missed out on the opportunity, had an enormous response on supporting Bon Jovi in 'The Circle' Tour's visit to WA.
They released their self titled EP in 2010 and much to their fans excitement, are soon to record their first full length album.
They soon hope to tour around Australia and then hopefully Internationally. Keep your eyes 'n ears out for the name Aztech Suns!
